Pimp wants weekly. I get them signed monthly. I only get paid monthly so why get them in sooner.
Basically they want to invoice weekly and get interest on the money and pay it to me when I invoice at end of month.
So they can hold some money for 7 weeks before they pay it to me.
If they paid weekly I'd get them signed weekly.
I doubt it - this is the norm for B2B invoicing, currently am contracting direct, large companies just take its time going through paying all invoices, so finance department here told me my best chances are to submit timesheets each on Friday, that way she can process paperwork quicker in order for my payment to get into my bank on the right time (30 days in arrears)
In any case, the terms and conditions of submitting timesheets & invoices and receiving payments are all detailed in the contract, if you sign a contract saying you'll submit a timesheet each Friday, then you better do it, else the agency may take it as a breach of contract hence has the right to delay your payment!!!
I usually manage to get it done end of Friday. My last agent's deadline was Tuesday lunchtime to get paid that week, so getting it done Monday made no difference.
I always try to line up two people that can do it, but that's not always possible, and the last client I only had the one manager who would. Which meant when he went on holiday for 2 weeks, I had to wait.
