How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Well at least my wife won't have to fork out £100 a month for her drugs after her transplant. But then he'll tax it back out of me so I guess swings and roundabouts!
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
My wife is chronically ill and already gets all her drugs nearly free so I think this might be more spin.

My wife had a kidney transplant and is on a large cocktail of drugs which stop her body rejecting the kidney, but because kidney failure is not seen as life threatening (as they have machines which can do what your kidneys do-although not very well) then she (we) have to pay for them

Just checked with the missus. If you have to take drugs for the rest of your life your doctor can fill out a form or something so that you get them free.
