I used to like The FaQQer, el duder, and others on CUK, but they seem to have disappeared a while back. Anyone care to give me a potted history lesson?

edit: DOH! Sorry, too quick on the trigger again - he's posting away merrily today.

P.S. I still wonder why threaded abruptly stopped posting (here and on his blog) a couple of months ago. Could he have had a prang on that bike of his? Mind you, what with helping heads of governments and bank chiefs sort out this credit crunch he must have his hands full.
