And the judgement of Lehman Brothers and others do inspire confidence in you?

If I was running a bank I'd certainly never invest into subprime crap. I would never use leverage that could potentially result in losses that would bankrupt bank - never would I do such a thing and I would fire anybody on the spot who would suggest any such "plan".

In fact I'd setup pay structure that would reward people for correctly made long term decisions - bonuses would be paid out for long periods of time, and this might include time if that person left the bank - for example making good decision now, then leaving in 2 years, but I'd still pay good bonus for years to come if that was a good decision.

One more thing in my bank - I'd sack anyone if they spend their bonus on Porsche or anything stupid like this.

I don't have problems with rich etc. I have problem when some people get rich by screwing everyone else who was not even directly involved, ie current subprime crisis and general speculation on markets that hits pensions etc.

I don't have and never had communist ideals.

If someone who had their bonus goes out to drop it on a Porsche then they don't have in my view what it takes to work in a bank. That person is a threat to the bank and they would be fired for that rather than for buying expensive toy.

Atw - Seriously you are beginning to have psychological problems. I can imagine you 5 years from now still obsessed with SKA and telling us to wait for "imminent news", all the while ranting on about the City and evil bankers and not making the basic connection that you have lost touch with reality.

Yet you'd sack people who spent their own money on a Porsche?

I think you need to stick to one hobby-horse a day, then you'd find it a lot easier to formulate a coherent argument.
