People never think of the cheese when they emigrate.

Try going to Singapore, the supermarkets there offer two types; Cheddar and American cheese.
I actually got cheese cravings over there once.

Food is really good in Holland though, suprised there is an issue with the cheese not being up to spec. Beer is damn good there too and the bar/street cafe service is usually a lot better

I like Holland too. Service was very good and the culture very friendly and relaxed.

Agreed, the food's ok (as long as it's not Dutch national dishes...) and there is plenty of namby pamby hoity toity Dutch plastic^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hcheese, but no decent "kick you in the teeth" cheddar. Good beers too, just no decent ales.

Dutch food is the worst in the World and their beer is rubbish.
