Can science explain everything?

FWIW, I think Science can explain the how of almost everything.
I'm not sure it can explain the why of anything."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

I think science will eventualy explain everything. The holes in the knowledge base are shrinking though sometimes the science takes a wrong turn. Eventualy we will get there.
As for producing life, I dont think so. Science would need access to the raw materials and circumstances that created life in the first place. I am not sure the "big bang/crunch" is repeatable (would we want to repeat it knowing the consequences) and the primordial soup has long since evolved.I am not qualified to give the above advice!
