    Thanks for this suggestion. Website certainly looks good, seems to offer more than Houseweb. A complete online estate agent.

    However I did a search and got this:

    Search Results

    Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'

    Extra ) in query expression 'CategoryName = 'Buy' AND TypeName = 'semi-detached' AND Price >= 250000 AND Price <= 300000 AND NoOfBedrooms >= 2)'.

    /search_results.asp, line 120

      Oh Dear.

      Using MS Access.
      Using classic ASP
      Using dynamic SQL generation rather than parameters.
      Showing the error details to the end user.

      Avoid. Very noddy.

            Not crap. Sold my place for a few hundred. Try using the search facility like someone who doesn't understand SQL.

              The only thing I'll be finding on that website is a load of porn and malware links once some kid with basic SQL knowledge and too much time on their hands twigs how vulnerable the code is.

              Not sure what you mean by the second sentence.

                blah blah
                Also be aware that many (larger) agents now have standard contracts which include a clause whereby you waiver your right to the cooling off period you're supposed to have. Someone I know in my area just got screwed over by signing one of these. Perfectly legal too.

                  The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

                  But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
