OK this is all I can see:

Why the sisters will be gunning for Palin

Watch as the ultra-feminist sisterhood back away in horror from Sarah Palin, John McCain’s new running mate.

Mrs Palin is technically female, but she’s enthusiastically married, hates abortion and thinks criminals should not be the only people allowed to own guns. She’s everything Hillary Clinton isn’t. In short, she’s the wrong kind of woman.

Which just goes to show that ultra-feminists are not actually interested in promoting women because they’re women. They pretend they are, but really their agenda is a campaign against marriage, in favour of abortion and for every other disastrous liberal and socialist cause that ever existed.

In which case, they really can’t go on pretending that their opponents are women-hating bigots. Not least because they are the bigots – merciless when it comes to a choice between their own convenience and the life of an unborn baby.
Care to enlighten me as to your point on quoting this as evidence that McCain/Palin will win?

the British don't understand America and American politics, espeically if they're educated by hollywood and BBC/guardian

Palin will be a huge hit for the Republicans, a solid social and fiscal conservative

Umm, I lived there for four years and still got close ties to the place. I got a pretty decent idea how they think. Even some republicans are questioning McCain on his choice.

Palin fills the doubt gaps and will bring in the female and the Christian right vote

Not so sure it's that clear cut - the two things you mention almost conradict each other, she's firmly pro-choice, Christian and creationist - you think all the Hilary female supporters who're almost diametrically aligned to that stance will jump to Republicans because she's a female?

It smacks of desperation, and it seriously hurts a major McCain campaign point- Obama's lack of experience. McCain has just appointed someone who has absolutely zero foreign policy experience, or even big politics experience, who he's met once - that's going to hurt him him a fair bit.

                      Indeed I did.

My question, not on the actual policy but on the politics of it, is how being pro-life is going to help McCain with the female vote; Who were largely Hilary, and who in the main are pro-choice?
