If something is falling at a constant year on year rate, the % fall remains the same.

            e.g.

            Jan -2%
            Feb -2%
            Mar -2%

Plotted on a graph, the asset is falling and the price drop is neither accelerating or slowing, but is constantly falling.

If the figures show the (abs) percentage increasing

            e.g

            Jan -2%
            Feb -3%
            Mar -4%

Then the drop is accelerating surely? Ie. the fall is not a constant % but an increasing fall each month.

I might be wrong. My specialist skills are drag 'n' drop and making money quickly.

The consensus is at least 20% drop peak to trough. Last year it was 10%, and the year before a 10% probability of a 10% drop. Expect this estimate to change.

A woman on German telly, said there would be a correction and was predicting up to 40% before the drop started last year.

Wait for the next Land Registry figures which show ACTUAL prices..... they will show prices rising in my area, as they did last month, and that is all I care about !!
