Whereas a well regulated and balanced diet is even better."I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith

Guys quality must improve next week...Originally posted by SandyDown View PostOK - Ramadan started, fasting today, I'll take it one day at a time and I hope I manage to get through the day.
So far no problems, I can't believe it no coffee withdrawal symptoms, (mind you I usually have one coffee a day, and I take it around 10:30 am, not first thing)
Lets hope I am a wake the rest of the day, I have just started a new contract
I'm confused with the above statements......can you explain please?

All very laudable, but why do you have to be told when to do those things? Why not build them into your weekly regime?Originally posted by SandyDown View PostRamadan is not a diet

Why confused? I posted the first post a few weeks ago when I was ending a contract, my post today is after I started the contract.Originally posted by KathyWoolfe View PostI'm confused with the above statements......can you explain please?Comment

If you have to ask whether you should do anything you really should do (in religious terms) then you really don't want to do it - you're just looking for an excuse not to do it.
errr................

Actually I do, after completing Ramadan last year, I kept the good habits, and fasted almos every weekend for all winter, I only stopped mid/end of June.... I am hoping to continue this habit again when I complete this month's fast.Originally posted by wobbegong View PostAll very laudable, but why do you have to be told when to do those things? But if you asking in general why Muslims have to do it during a specific month, then I suppose its a community thing dunno....
I tell ya, in this new contract there are at least 4 of us fasting, and it feels so good to have others doing it with me.
Anyway, got to go back to work, don't want to start arguing here, whole point of fasting is to avoid arguing etc...
