Java and/or C#/.Net certification ?

The last Ada work I did was on the 'mainland', in France, are they using Ada for non defence stuff these days !? I think the rates are rubbish in the UK as its all basically controlled by a handful of defence contractors. Everything for BAe was paying the same rate the last time I looked into it.

Still mostly defence. BAe still rubbish rates, just got asked if I would take 27.50 to work in Brough. They would have to pay me that to visit Brough, never mind work there. Best I saw was 35 an hour last year for AMS in Pompey.

I dont think BAe will ever learn.

.NET is too hard for C++ programmers. I would suggest Java, but 20th century technology is so, well 20th century.

The rate for senior bulltulipters is going through the roof. See there's a UK wide skills shortage in those that can lie, bulltulip and generally tell porkies. Most have left the country, many to Denmark and other mainland European destinations.
