I saw it and thought it was a bit pants. It's like the whole James Bond thing where they have him and fail to simply kill him and allow him to escape. The Joker was good, but I thought the film was too long for the story. They could have made a great 90min movie out of it.

Not much point nominating him if he doesn't deserve the award, surely? Isn't the idea that those nominated are the ones who do deserve to win?

If this is no longer the case, I want my 2008 Olympic marathon gold medal nomination, and I expect it to be delivered to my armchair with a nice Chinese meal

I thought it was Ok, just far far far too long.

Very few films can pull off being 2.5 hours and this one didn't. They needed to shave at least 30 mins off it for it to be good.
