SAS and Prawn have already submitted preliminary offers on his house.Cooking doesn't get tougher than this. -
Exactly.Originally posted by expat View PostSo what has GM got to do with food shortages?
The main obstacle to GM crops is public opinion
The great British public believe that GM will grow potatos the size of medicine balls
The great BritiSh public was mostly against GM
Because of some food shortages public opinion is shifting
hence my question
does anyone on here find their opinion shifting
I think the answer was a no.Except for me. I think yields will increase , and I also think they will do so with less water(which is the next big problem coming down the pipe)
I find myself becoming a big fan of GM

... and when all that we can eat is GM modified what will be the alternative when we have to give it up for health reasons. The alternative to cigarettes was ok because we can survive without them but what will be the alternative to GM foods when that is all we will have ??!!

They probably do. We are 50% banana(s) ourselves don't forgetl.Originally posted by Troll View PostYou are over turning billions of years of evolution with a century of science, there is probably a very good biological reason why jellyfish genetic components do not belong in a fruit & it's only our arrogance that lets us think we know better.
P.s. Is a banana a tree or a bush?Comment
