Exactly.
The main obstacle to GM crops is public opinion
The great British public believe that GM will grow potatos the size of medicine balls
The great BritiSh public was mostly against GM
Because of some food shortages public opinion is shifting

hence my question
does anyone on here find their opinion shifting

I think the answer was a no.Except for me. I think yields will increase , and I also think they will do so with less water(which is the next big problem coming down the pipe)

... and when all that we can eat is GM modified what will be the alternative when we have to give it up for health reasons. The alternative to cigarettes was ok because we can survive without them but what will be the alternative to GM foods when that is all we will have ??!!
