And what's a sub cc bike anyway?
Cyclists remind me of the rabbits when Frith (or whatever the rabbit God in Watership Down was called) was telling them the whole world was out to get them. Even pedestrians hate cyclists.

If you obtained your car licence before 1 February 2001 you do not need to complete a CBT to ride a moped.
The truth is out there .....

That's because it's not a test. CBT stands for 'Compulsory Basic Training' and the only purpose of it is to make sure you're at a safe standard to learn how to ride a bike.

A friend of mine did fail it. Well not really, but they refused to pass him on the first try because he wasn't good enough and insisted he came back for more training.

I had no idea we were talking about mopeds. What is a sub-cc bike? Less than 1cc?

I haven't ridden a bike in 10 years, and I don't think I will again. Been there, done that, and didn't get injured so I count myself lucky.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

I sold he last bike a few years ago when I totted up 12 points, but now I have a clean (touch wood) licence I intend to get one again sometime. Ironically, none of the points were on the bike, all car related - obviously I am a much more law-abiding biker than car driver (or I was harder to catch
Cooking doesn't get tougher than this.

I've been on crutches for 4 months because some tart swiped me in the states. Have to walk past the bike everyday and getting butterflies thinking about getting back on it.

I think the 40 something death rate is improving again.
It was called "born again biker syndrome". Most of those that died had come back to biking after a long break. They could afford some serious kit and were caught out by the difference in speed since they last had a bike.
The bike press have been all over this one for ages and the message of training for born againers is getting through.
