In the 15 years that I have been a forensic accountant with HMRC, I have found very few IT contractors who don't attempt to beat the system.
And Yes, You should all be on PAYE and the current IR35 system is due for a complete overhaul shortly.

i'm sure those same (as-yet completely hypothetical) statistics would show that poverty is the most significant factor in the majority of crime. and further, that there's a significant correlation between ethnicity and poverty.

i wish all you right-wing headbangers would stop mincing your words and just have the balls to say "send 'em all back, and build more workhouses for the poor".

However, if you put everyone on an equal start you will find some groups are more inclined to work hard, some to not work and some to steal. You can see this, plain as day, in America. Tell me, for example, about all the news about problems with the Chinese community in the UK. There's a lot of illegal Chinese immigrants. I have no problem with them whatsoever. Now move to the North London c**phole I escaped from some years ago and ask around the Albanian, Kosovian community about how they make their money. Take out private medical first though if I was you.

ok, but is ethnic origin really the factor here? or is it more about the size, age and stability of that community? the chinese have been here a LONG time and own a lot of businesses, is it fair to compare the relatively new kosovans to that?
