I seem to go against the trend within my field.

        IT contractor newbie here.

        1. Can I claim for clothing? I have a nice new £5 anorak from Blacks that I need for work.

        2. I have upgraded my lunchtime encapsulation wrapper to a formal Tupperware box solution. Can I claim the VAT on it?

        3. Does anybody know any grils?

Welcome to the board You'll find that we're a bunch of well-balanced individuals, tolerant of others different than ourselves, and eager to help without being judgmental

FFS newb, have you even read the first timer guides that I'm not bothering to link to (even though it would obviously be more helpful if I did)?

          I just told you!

Why don't you worthless newbs even bother reading the answer to your first question before asking the second? If you joined the PCG you'd know all this already!

I think the George Foreman ones are pretty good, but my mum could answer this one better than me

Yes - You will also find white socks, sandals and beard trimmers are tax deductible.

              Thank you.

Should I invest in a second Theakstons Old Peculier t-shirt so I can have a clean one to wear in meetings / presentations / interviews?

It still seems to be going strong in Bangalore.
