"If you get a 1GB USB memory stick then what happens when you want to copy a 1.1GB file."

The same as would happen if you wanted to copy a 4.1Gb file onto a 4Gb stick. How often are you going to need to copy a file greater than 1Gb. If you feel that you are likely to need this extra capacity on a regular basis, then go for the bigger drive. If not, then is the extra 3Gb worth the extra cash. As spod mentioned earlier, why not go for a hard disk MP3 player. That way you could copy say 20gb files.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!
