Maybe it is simply that he wants to pay way over the odds for something which will be worth a percentage of its current value in 6 months time. Personanlly I'd go down the dipstick 1 route and buy a few 1gb ones. I bought a cheap one which is a 1gb stick, Mp3 player, voice recorder and FM radio for about £50.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I preferred version 1!Comment

USB Memory Stick
Dipstick #3 says:
If you get a 1GB USB memory stick then what happens when you want to copy a 1.1GB file.
I find that it's either best to get either the most inexpensive thing that will do the job - 128MB USB stick and when 128MB is not enough throw it away and buy a larger one - or - go the whole hog and buy a very very large one. Ooh er. Then that will see you OK for years.
When I bought mine it was either 2GB (£200) or 4GB (£400) and I have on a few instances needed to copy over 2GB of data.Comment

I have a creative zen (60 gig) which allows me to transfer files with me AND carry my entire music collection. Which is nice.
Dont give in to peer pressure Beans, stand your ground and do what YOU want.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

What are you going to do if you need to copy over a 4.2GB file?
Or maybe 17 TB of data? Could get expensive.Comment
