I agree, but think that last great one was sometime in the early 90s. Would never go back now. The Beautiful Days festival seems to have taken over from the point where Glastonbury stopped being good. Glastonbury is all mainstream (read NME hyped) bands nowadays, it used to be really left field and eclectic.Originally posted by Alf W View PostComment

Music is music, every genre and every generation has it good stuff, and garbage and hyped up garbage (Remember how many manc sounding bands arrived on the scene after the stone roses and the mondays, and then most indie kids hated dance music as well ... ). Its kind of wierd, I'm not that into the music, but the songs are catchy, and I think that it will "go off" in the tent when they play. More what I expect the atmosphere to be like rather than going for the musical talent. Sometimes you just get bands like that.
