Right - so far, it's either Hammersmith or Richmond, both very nice places, The excellent Porter coming in a close third. We'll give it until tomorrow afternoon (maybe?), and then wrap it up as some have to book hotels etc.

Depending on venue, I may have to reserve places and possibly a table for some fine pub grub, if you're up for that? In the meantime, enjoy your evening, and I'll catch up with you later.

        Anchor, Southwark
Central, Riverside, likely to be busy.

        The Banker, Cannon Street
        Ditto, as above.

        Bell & Crown, Kew
SW, District line, cosy, great beer and food.

        Bull's Head, Gunnersbury
Within walking distance of Bell & Crown above, nice location, 'villagey'.

        Dirty Dick's, Liverpool Street
Central, grimy, gritty, authentic London boozer - likely to be busy.

        Dove, Hammersmith
IMO this is one of the best pubs in London. Centralish/West, riverside, brilliant.

        Market Porter, Borough
Central, Famously good beer and food, likely to be v v busy though.

        Marquess Tavern, Islington
Good little boozer, central/North, area gives us plenty of options.

        The Ship, Fulham Broadway
Country-style pub, SW, Fulham is a good area for a pub crawl.

        White Swan, Richmond
The ultimate in destinations! Shedloads to do in Richmond, ideal riverside location for summer drinks. I'm not trying to swing the vote in favour of this destination at all, honest.
        Very comprehensive.

Thank you Xen. In this thread you will also find a 'pint rating' of these pubs by NF, who, I feel, probably deserves about a million geek points over the years.

            Ah, very good. Agreed.

I'm sure I must have thrown a few Xeno Geek Points Nick's way in the past.

The Porter is nice (was there a couple of weekends ago) but too busy if you want to chat?

Yep, I did make that point, esp on a Friday evening, but if that's what they want...

If it does get a bit mad I recommend the George (opposite the Slug) as it has tables outside.

Is this an open poll - i.e. can we check who's voting cause I ain't seen anyone being vocal about it and al of a sudden it races into the lead from being well behind ... who's logging on with multiple alts to swing it?
