Is it because the perpetrators are not white?
    Bollox:

    For starters:

    "

Johannesburg - Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, in his 27th year of rule, is ignoring approaches from former South African president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela that he step down, reports said this weekend.
The usually reliable weekly Zimbabwe Independent, quoting unnamed sources, also said that former UN secretary-general Kofi Annan had tried to meet with Mugabe to discuss his retirement, but he too had been ignored. No comment could be obtained from Mugabe's office. "

And get your hands on a .50 cal Barrett. Not as easy as the movies might suggest...

        Wrong there

I still can't work out why you've posted Mugabe's glorified CV here.
Are you a ZANU-PF supporter by any chance?

So you have conveniently ignored the first quote then

He is retired, but does still take an active interest in his foundations.

                OK, yeah

                Whatever OS.
You know as well as I do that if Mandela/Mbeki/etc SA leaders really wanted to get rid of him, they would have done so by now. Truth is that if MDC were elected, there would be a massive change in foreign investment away from SA (only 'safe heaven' atm) and they don't want that to happen. Would rather have a poor neighbour on their doorstep, rather than a rival as Rhodesia was 30 years ago.

That part I actually agree with

That sounds like complete bollocks again to me. Have a read here

It shows that FDI in SA is currently declining, not entirely but potentially because of the unstability. Astable southern africa would benefit all (which is actually what Mbeki often bangs on about in constantly trying to promote his 'baby' the concept of SADC.

Instead we are likely to see the chinese use the unstability to their advantage and plunder the natural resources.

                    Not

Foreign investment is declining in SA because there is increasingly more visible deprivation and violence, which bring instability, nothing to do with troubles elsewhere, despite what they want you to believe. Inept and corrupt leadership is the main cause, pretty much same reason as in the rest of Africa. Mbeki is on his way out and could be indicted later by the incoming President, Mandela couldn't care less, there you are.
Can't take some at their word - especially SA politicians.

So you're saying Zim and investment in SA are unrelated then? In case you forgot.....
