Any candidate that would consign Donald Rumsfield and Dick Cheney to life in the retirement home rather than the President's home would be a good idea. For that reason I'd hope it was Obama (they being republican). However I would not expect Obama to complete two terms in office given the strong feeling some people have about blacks in the US.

I wonder if this would be the case if Condi Rice would have stood for the Republicans? She probably thinks that she is a LOT safer going back to teaching/research at Stanford.How did this happen?
