Apologies if there is a thread on this already
Nope, my single biggest issue - isn't that it's too long, or that it's not needed (Though from what I read, it's not). It's that all this stuff that goes through under the guise of terrorism is completely and uutterly abused by the authorities in the not so distant future and before you know it it's a catch all for the cops to lock up anyone they feel like for 6 weeks.

They're already misusing and abusing 'terrorism' legislation, so why would we trust them nt to do the same with this.

Actually while I'm on a rant, can the government just f cuk off and leave us all in peace? Tories, labour or liberals - they're all the same. Power grabbing, self serving knobs.

Yep - one of the many reasons I disagree with it.

The police seem to go from one extreme to another. First they want to shoot people in the head 7 times with just a moments warning, and now they want to lock people up for a whole 42 days without charge. Surely there is some middle ground?
