    'Survey'

I've got a feeling that the 'voters' that took part in the survey were residents of those cities, explains the Glasgow position. Few natives get hurt there, most are outsiders.

Voters? Mercer's uses voters...I don't think they do. Isn't just a big spreadsheet macro full of crime, house pricing, cost of living, job openings. etc.. statistics.

Well since the poll is "top cities to LIVE IN" it seems fairly obvious they must have asked people who live there. Seems to make the poll a bit stupid though, since how can you have a perspective on other cities relative to yours if you've never lived there.

As a jobbign contractor, I've lived all over for short periods. They should have asked me. I'd have put Hull at the bottom.
