A) They put a rabid dog in there with the ******* losers
B) They included an axe wielding homicidal maniac as part of the line up

BB celebrates all that is vacuous, stupid and annoying about present day UK.

I've seen both - occasionally (Not the norm for sure) there are some extremely clever people on BB, and some complete FW's on the apprentice.

I don't see the apprentice as any more worthy to be honest, for sure BB has a lot of people like you describe, doesn't mean they can't be entertaining - or that being smarter (Al la the apprentice) makes them somehow more entertaining.

Plus that little kn)b sugar annoys the crap out of me, but I'd do Davina in a sec ...

The target audience for BB is 16-30 year old chavs. Look at the adverts/sponsors, they know who their demographic is. The Apprentice is for people who like light documentaries based on a certain amount of substance, they do have to have some talent.

The most highbrow BB gets is who didn't clean the toilet, who fancies who (usually they fancy themself), he said she said etc. It's highly false and self aware. It's entertainment for people who miss the politics of the playground.
