      Shhhh, .Net pays well because nobody wants to do it, because...

      (1) C++ programmers think it's beneath them
      (2) PHP programmers think it's above them

      And we'd like to keep it that way.

        Yes, that would not be the best approach. But with a strong background in .Net less open doors will be closed due to off shoring competition.

                  I reckon anyone could learn SAP, but getting work would be tricky - as mentioned elsewhere, a permie gig with some organisation implementing it would be the best bet.

                  Seems a bit like Local Authority/Govt to me - you can only get a gig/job if you have prior experience, which for most of us means "no chance" (not that I'd want to work for the shiny-trousered government).
