I think I'm going to stick to NS&I and the safer bank accounts.
I like the following banks & building societies
Nationwide
Co-op
Any other "nice" safe banks out there? Which ones are safest from subprime and don't offshore everything to India?
A lot of the others are on the verge of collapse (Northern Crock style) (e.g. the Icelandic banks)Comment

How about Coutts? I think their monthly statements are hand-written with a real quill pen, and delivered to your door on a silver plate by a guy in full livery and a powdered wig.Originally posted by DimPrawn View Post..
