I'd walk and then discover the market rate has fallen quite a bit lower than the rate I'd been asked to drop down to. This is what I did in 2003

Walked once before when a rate cut was announced. Also refused renewals if the rate wasn't upped.Comment

I'd have to stay put - the rates nearby (where work is even available) are around 60% of what I'm currently on so it would have to be a significant pay cut...Comment
