Blubbing like a baby, there's no excuse. England captain my arse. You wouldn't have seen Stevo G crying like that. Where's your Dunkerque spirit now JT?
Actually I was hoping both teams would field 12 players, or be high on steriods or something, and get banned, then we could have had the final which I think everyone really wanted, Liverpool V Barcelona.
Well done Giggs though - one of the great players.Bored.Comment

Not quite
You mean Arsenal vs Barcelona, repeat of the last one. Don't forget Arsenal should have gone through to the semis to face Chelsea.
I still think JT is a better captain than Rio Ferdinand who looks like a character from the Simpsons and more to the point behaves like one. At least JT hasn't had a drugs ban.Comment

Oh so now it's Ferdinand - anybody else you would like to compare to Saint John (patron saint to all <pot noodlers>)
He's the new face for Kleanex apparantlyLast edited by ferret; 22 May 2008, 23:26. Reason: Again, I do agree but you can't say that Tony ;o)Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

The only person I feel slight sympathy for is Lampard, only becuase of what happened to his mum. The rest of them are chunts of the highest order.
Trying to be unbiased, we stuffed them in the first half and they did us in the second. On the extra time display I think we just edged it. I'm sorry Roman but maybe you can buy a couple of seasons glory in a 3 horse race, but you cannot buy the ECL.
and maybe Ronalso is off, no player is bigger than the club e.g. Ruud Van NistelrooyThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

When have you ever seen JT show that kind of emotion when playing for his country? That's what p's me off about it. THAT's why he shouldn't be captain of England. Loyalty? Club over country apparently.
It's just wrong.Comment

What pissed me off was the constant reminder of how this was the worlds biggest club competition being contested by two premiership clubs, a real showcase for the world to see what English football is all about... then ITV advertised Euro 2008 which starts in a couple of weeks.Originally posted by ruth11 View PostWhen have you ever seen JT show that kind of emotion when playing for his country? Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
