That's true, his 73 virgins or whatever it is are supposed to get would be a bit underutilisedOriginally posted by sasguru View PostWell at least it's a genuine case for asylum unlike some others.
Very little chance of him being an Islamic fundamentalist is there?
Some people are like slinkys, totally pointless but the thought of pushing them down a flight of stairs never fails to put a smile on your face.Comment

btw, do you even know anything about Iran? your mouth is flapping open and closed, noises are coming out, it sort of sounds like an opinion...but...but...NO MORE ASYLUMS, GAYS IS RONG is all i'm really hearing.Originally posted by Ardesco View PostSo all you have to do to get asylum is tell them you are gay....
Call me cynical but isn't this an easy way to get british citizenship? We don't like it in Iran lets go over to good old blighty and say we are gay. We will get a house and benefits and be out of this tuliphole for good...
I'm sorry but I find being gay a very weak reason to be granted asylum.
i think it's a safe bet that most Iranians actually DO like it in Iran, or at least they did until the Islamist minority hijacked what was supposed to be a peoples' revolution. fear of being executed because the government disapproves of what this guy does with his willy is almost certainly the real motivation for claiming asylum, not getting a free bloody house on some piss-streaked council estate in a cold wet country half way around the world from his home, family, friends, career etc. Iran is a sophisticated country filled with ordinary people, that just happens to be ruled by authoritarian morons who make it literally impossible for some people to go on living there. why on earth can't you, as an Englishman living under New Labour, relate to that?Originally posted by BolshieBastardYou're fulfilling a business role not partaking in a rock and roll concert.Comment
