True, but BoJo fits even better !Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Hopefully though, he will introduce zero tolerance! Deal with crime now, instead of in 10 years time when the little scrote is a hardened criminal!

So, now I am to be criminalised for enjoying a little snifter on the tube on the way home because some lout cannot control himself?
I want my vote back."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Another pointless one size fits all rule that can't be enforced. The cops will throw the book at easy targets just making more criminals of more decent people, like a single person quietly having a pre-pub drink on a long journey. But faced with 30 pissed rowdy fooyball supporters what will they do? Look the other way of course.
The main problem is a minority of troublemakers, some of who happened to be p!ssed. Tackle them and you solve the problem. But that's a bit to difficult for our useless police and legislators.Comment

Edit: Turion is right too, often these rulebooks get thrown at the easy targets, who may not be those actually doing wrong.Comment

This is easy to enforce with heavily-armed tube staff. For anyone with a beer can, it is a shoot to kill policy. The only problem I can see is spillage, but we could employ a couple of the turkeys on here to suck up the slops.Comment
