I used to work in one. Although we did beasts (why they didn't just call them cows I don't know) and sheep. Pigs came in dead we just cut them up.Originally posted by Wilmslow View PostThere may be a meeting in a company abattoir I may need to attend tomorrow.
Not sure how I am feeling about that to be honest.
You won't get anywhere near the killing floor - not unless you are willing to spend 30 mins dressing for the occasion.Comment

BBC two show showing how animals are killed was quite interesting. Nice to know where you meat comes from."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

So they've rebadged XI or you've changed hats ? It's all .Net in the end, toot toot !!!Originally posted by milanbenes View Postno no, calm before the storm

alright dinosaur,
if you have xi on your cv change it to pi otherwise you'll look like a dipstick
I won't be changing hats until the customers change to some other super form of .net at which time all of us parasites will be changing hats en masse
and cross training into the next toot toot gravy train :-)

It needed rebadging as it has a bad name, a mate who sells s/w for IBM targetting XI boxes says it's one mess after another. I won't be chasing XI jobs, CBA, unless times are tough then I'll rebadge as required, I've got that many 'specialist' CVs I can't keep track of them anymore.Originally posted by milanbenes View Postalright dinosaur,

XI is now part of PI. The other bit of PI is workflow.Originally posted by rootsnall View PostSo they've rebadged XI or you've changed hats ? It's all .Net in the end, toot toot !!!
There's no pig product in cat or dog food. That's because we use all of the pig ourselves. Was chatting to someone who implemented the .Net planning processes at one once. They can use over 98% of the pig allegedly.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

NotAllThere,
without wanting to split hairs on the .Net subject, xi does not formally exist anymore.
xi is now pi which is part of end to end process integration.
but you know this already :-)
