I am also close to developing full-blown man flu. I expect I'll be over it by the end of the week.

I'm suffering from a bit of a hangover today, had a fry up but that hasn't helped much.
I might have a cup of coffee so keep checking back and I'll let you all know if that makes me feel any better."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? If that is the case then we have free speech."- Elon MuskComment

Real contractors don't get ill. Actually, I don't think I have ever had flue in my life, what's it like? Is it fun?bloggoth

An update on my situation:
Had a coffee and it didn't help.
Going to have some beef stroganoff for lunch and will see if that does the trick.
Oops - that should really go into a 'lunch' thread shouldn't it!

Don't think I'd want a flue down my throat. But flu is a bit nasty. I'm also a bit down today. But as I'm on the bench - I can't go into the office and infect everyone.Originally posted by xoggoth View PostReal contractors don't get ill. OK had a mixture of chicken curry, beef casserole and rice and that still hasn’t done anything good for the hangover.
Drunk plenty of water and nope.
Will try and go for a swim after work but might only make it as far as the jacuzzi/sauna/steam room by which time it will be nearly time to start the cycle over again…
Will hopefully make for some interesting posting tomorrow – or even tonight if get into enough of a state
