On the plus side they also go under some car park barriers.

Wilmslow would improve his chances if he didn't ask for bitty on every first date.

            I didn't have a great childhood and I am scared I wouldn't be a very good parent.

I have no idea about wilmslow, I was answering for myself.

                Ouch.

I test drove an Elise years ago. I would last a week tops if I had one.

The salesman banged on about how light it was, blah, blah, and I told him that it felt as if it were made of papier mache...

S2000! Once had a traffic light grand-prix with one. I thought he'd stalled it, but realised he had to wait till 8900rpm for the power to kick in. Diesels have a wider power band!
You don't have to wait for >8000rpm for vtec, it kicks in about 6000 rpm.

You can't compare the s2000 engine to the old rover k series unit that was in the elise. Even though the s2000 doesnt have bags of torque it has more than a rover powered elise (153 compared to 121) even at low revs. Plus the rover runs out of puff at a dismal 5500 revs with 118bhp. The light weight would mean the elise would probably lead to 20mph but after that it would be mullered.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
