Never been sectioned but many moons ago Mrs. Jog went in for an eating disorder and I visited her every day for 8 months. They put the eating disorders in the same ward as the others and let them all share the same smoking room, games room meals etc.

I spent a lot of time in that place with a lot of serious nutters – all of my own free will, does that count?
