I passed out so badly it took them half an hour to bring me round and I could hear them debating whether to call an ambulance though I could not move. Note they didnt pour it back in though. The nurses missed their lunch break and when I eventually left they said, with a tight smile, "we don't want to see you again".
the nurses are ususally a good laugh. I remember back in the late 1980s when they tightened the donation rules due to the aids thing. One nurse said to me "soon we will only accept nuns - and a few good monks".

But at least you gave it a go - unlike MF who just has a pop at anyone who tries to do anything positive.

Gosh - did I just write that - socialworkers are going up in my opinion. I think I need to lie down.

Suddenly wondered if it could be related to having giving blood on Wednesday.
Returned to this thread to find out when I last donated (I remembered posting about the chairs) and it was 13 Feb. Looked at my parkrun history - 16 Feb's run was over two minutes slower than the weeks before it. Not exactly conclusive evidence, but I wonder if there's a connection - fewer red blood cells = less oxygen to the lungs and legs, it would make sense...
And another thing - zinc helps. Well thats what I told MrsBP. And I gave her a good source of zinc. I am sure your husband will oblige for you.

I prescribe the Daily Telegraph twice a day, Christopher Booker articles in particular. The man is barking. You'll soon be back to your old self.

A galvanized screw can work wonders.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

How's the op gone? Do your new breasts look ok? When do they take the stiches out of your new fangita?

fooking painful. I had the surgeon on the phone last night and this morning. I have a HUGE swelling where blood has leaked out. I have to keep lying down. And I am bored to hell. I want to go for a very long walk.

Try counting the number of throbs every 5 minutes and see if you can mentally reduce them using the power of positive thought.

I'll take a walk for you. What do you want from the fridge?

More ice please. One bag for my swelling and another for your g+t.

What is this thing called postive thought? I only know about whining.

I think MrsBP can count the number of throbs.
