If you are the Home Office you don't count EU citizens as being foriegn.
If you are a school teacher you regard anyone without a good grasp of English as foriegn whether they are from Poland, Portugal or Ghana.
Also the foreigners I seem to meet are all rich/better off than the average Brit. However it doesn't stop them being mugged."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

An argument about whether foreigners are more likely or only equally likely to commit crime given similar income levels is missing the essential point of nationality Threaded.
We are stuck with our own criminal classes but we have no duty to take in anyone else's. A decent immigration policy should be vetting incomers and they should not be simply average but far better than us. Do the US/Canada/NZ/Oz take in unemployable white youths from sink estates along with the professional sorts to ensure British migrants are representative of British citizens? Of course not.
Migrants over represented in low income groups? If that is the case, what benefit are they exactly?bloggoth

I blame the Vikings, we had little rape and pillage before themThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
