As much as I do hate them, it's the outside lane hoggers on two-lane dual carrigways that really drive me mad. I have to admit to losing the plot with one yesterday and being a bit of an idiot driving way too close behind. Not good, and no excuses, but anger can get to you from time to time.Originally posted by Cliphead View PostMiddle lane hoggers on motorways

70% of people on motorways seem to begin lane change then indicate - why bother?
Not mad keen on people who ignore red lights at pedestrian crossings and roadworks.
People who ignore road markings at junctions and roundabouts - either don't care think they know better or are just ill-mannered.
People going the wrong way along one-way streets.
People in BMWs who don't indicate, leave the motorway by cutting across three lanes and the ghost island then slam on their brakes and watch the carnage in their rear view mirror.
People who don't indicate just because there are no other road vehicles around - quite a lot of us pedestrians drive too!Comment

Everyone needs to chill.
The problem is that the roads are simply waaaaaaaay too overcrowded. We need to get at least 50% of the vehicles off the road:
1. Raise the min drivers age to 21 and the top age to 70.
2. Force EVERY driver to resit the driving test every 5 years and have a "fee" of £1000 to retake it.
3. Increase fuel duty and road tax into the £10K level pa.
Driving is way too cheap and there are too many cars on the road. Get them off the roads.Comment
