Bums, missed Earth Hour. Was on the sun bed, watching the 42" plasma TV. Was a bit cold so whacked the oven on with the door open too.

Had I realised I would have switched the light in the downstairs lav off

Just did this search on Google "is co2 responsible for global warming"

      Top result below:

      http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html

OK it's just another analyis, but for me more plausible. The CO2 in the atmosphere is absolutely tiny. What we add does not make a significant difference to the temp. Water vapour and other factors beyond our control are way more important. We should be learning to deal with climate change, as the climate has always been changing. Doesn't mean we should waste energy or not invest in renewables, but gestures like this earth day are pointless distractions.

Fear not, it won't be a problem in the future when we're 100% nuclear

Only the gypos will be using old school gas and coal to heat their poxy caravans.

Interesting article. I don't believe all of this climate change nonsence is man made.

But the government are dealing with it.

Such a simple solution, apply a green tax and job done. No need for further changes, development or investment, just price everyone out of their homes and cars and sit back and watch the economy meltdown. That will generate enough heat to keep us all warm.
