I for one am sick to death of hearing about these poor hard done by teenage single mothers, Yes! the same hard done by single mothers who holiday abroad, sport designer gear, top of the range mobile phones and fists full of jewellery, and all on this meagre state benefit.

Maybe you should write in a letter of complaint?

        Not entirely.

No benefits + child = hard work, as
No work = no money + hungry family.
Hunger is the catalyst that produces action.
        Action + money + provision = responsibility + pride.
Responsibility + pride / community = community cohesion.

In't old days - welfare was a privilege, and meant for those who couldn't work due to illness or age. It was provided for by the community.

        Today?
Benefits + total safety net + political correctness + selfish attitudes = unaccountable, irresponsible, lazy, disrespectful, ambivalent wastes of space.

Er, arent all mums on benefits?

Or has child benefit become means tested.

So, listen up you lot with kids. QED, your wives a chav.

I get the child benefit for 2 of my 3 children - so I am a chav too! ace.

All I need now is an ASBO.

I don't class child benefit in the same catagory.

Get with the program, what we are talking about is social security handouts to work-shy louts with no intention of ever working, just breeding more of the same.
I would happily contribute more NI payment for the children of responsible adults.

yeah, cause its the one you qualify, its somehow different to the rest....

Its still money flowing from me, to you, for doing nothing in return. If you are so "not workshy", why not send the nipper round to my gaff to clean the car for free in return for your child benefit?

What about prescriptions, ever had one of them and only paid 8 quid for it?
