I grew up in Knutsford anyone else from this area ? Knutsford highlights were The Redcow pub and the Knutsford fair and the posh car garage on the round about. Wilmslow must know the place as Wilmslow the place is just up the road from Knutsford

Teaching is only safe if:
1. You are teacher of a scarce subject like physical sciences, technology or maths
2. You get on with the various heads you have
I have friends who are teachers and:
1.One of them got "restructured" 2 years ago with about 5 other teachers at her school. She was happy because she had just had a sprog and has a rich husband.
2. Also a friend who is soon to be a headteacher has been involved in suggesting teachers leave the schools that she has worked in due to unsatisfactory performance.
Also I remember when teachers in my secondary school where restructured:
1. The language teachers retired or found something else to do.
2. The music department was downsized. It was the teacher's own fault she prevented lots of pupils playing instruments and did herself out of a job. There isn't a great need for music teachers in state secondary schools.
3. An RE teacher was told to leave.
MrsF used to teach in Slough, and there were some staff there who were hopeless, but the school couldn't get anyone else so they had to keep the rubbish teachers there.Comment

These are probably fake ads designed by the agencies to try to lower the perceived average rates so they can cream more off themselves.
I suppose if they are genuine, they might catch a few newbies who don't know any better.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it
