Do you find they have discouraged your from putting up rents because of 'lack of demand' in the last 2 years or so?

I think demand is going up, but they just want to make life easy for themselves, even though they could increase their commission if they put some effort into it.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

      Well tough tulip!

The vendor must have had a reason to reject your offer.

With your attitude, I would, probably.

No, but rental is pretty static in south wales anyway.

the agent tries to get as much as she can for the properties, some are dss that have to pay in addition to the housing benefit. the agency handles all that though.

DOH! All you actually said was you'd "put in an offer on a 675K house", without mentioning the 635, and you never said you were a cash buyer either!

Well in my books that is £25k drop. Assuming that a while ago you would have had to offer asking for a house.

                Yeah, I see.

You Cardiff based? I thought that was going through the roof.

My props are decent 2-bed semis in good areas in the Thames Valley. Bit of a honeypot so still plenty of demand from mobile workers.

May I suggest that we open a 'look what I've got' sticky on this forum for all those wanting to brag about their penis substitute cars, houses, phones etc on.

                      Thanks
