Remember these Jeremy-Kyle-generation children will be the ones changing your incontinence pads and emptying your commode in future years when your frailty means you can't do it alone. The educated ones will be scheming with your distant relatives how to carve up your estate when you've gone. A comforting thought for you - at least you'll get some value for all those taxes you paid out.

Taxes are there to protect the vulnerable. Towards the end of our time here, we will all become vulnerable - especially those with no children.
Oh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.

Doubt that children raised without a clue will be doing these jobs, it will be immigrants more like. However, I will put a bullet through my brain rather than suffer that indignity.

Tax does not protect the vulnerable. And those with any sense will have saved for their retirement.

I feel saddened by your world view, good vs evil. Perhaps try reading 'Atlas Shrugged' rather than comics.

It's all about me my friend, EVERYONE! elses comes second unless I'm going to get something out of it financially then your my new best friend. I don't mind owning up to it I'm shallow/selfish love money and love anyhting with a engine in it (as long as it has the right badge on the bonnet of course ) and I can NEVER EVER!!! see the day when I sit down and say I know lets have children that sounds like a good idea.

having observed parents with their kids whilst out and about I fail to see the enjoyment any of them get when the kid starts greetin in shops throwing tantrums etc. Also anytime I hear people I know that have children there always moaning about them. Kids..... I JUST DON'T GET IT!

I'm actually a very nice person once you get to know me Honest

your probably right I might eventually see the error of my ways but at 33 it's not going to be anytime soon.

OMG just how clueless can one get! Taxes are there to protect those in power and increase their wealth. That is why whenever you get a socialist government the tax burden always increases.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

I'm not quite sure that's exactly right. Disagree as we might with the actual tax increase bit, I think it's stretching things to say socialist governments do it to increase their wealth (If by wealth you mean the individuals in power).

Power - that's the endgame, that's it, that's all most politicians care about. I know there are some with a good heart, I've met quite a few, but the rest are not there to be your friends, and not there for the good of the common man.

The Treasury can be a very effective weapon. Socialist governments have proven themselves to be the first to use it as one - perhaps for retribution? Who knows...

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that call, just they do it to increase their wealth statement before. As for seeking more power, I don't think that's exclusive to socialist politicians. From what I can see most politicians try to gather more power, just the means that differ.
