Prices have definitely gone up. Having said that the linked one is a bit special - 4 bed, 5 bathroom.

In the 90s it was a popular destination for all the mafia types, you sure are a brave man to get engaged into a big money transaction with a Russian. Make sure you have got a will and a life insurance, also leave all expensive items you wear to your wife if you are going to meet them, and under no circumstances agree to meet them near a swamp in a forestOriginally posted by DimPrawn View PostTo Russians, who love Cyprus, that sort of money is pocket money. It was all hushed up at the time, and anyway was considered too dangerous to dig out, and they later built a load of villas on the site before the incident was declassified.
I remember an IT contractor who'd bought one being interviewed last year on some holiday program "A Place in the Sun" (?). He was moaning about being lumbered with the worthless thing for ever, and never being able to find a mug big enough to take it off his hands for the asking price.Work in the public sector?
