Denny banned for how long?

I wouldn't.

Denny was the first, second and third person to really flame me when I was a newbie. Or at least, that I can recall.

All I have seen from that individual is stirring of trouble and hypocrisy.

I can see how Troll and Churchill and the rest of the General brigade behave and I suspect most newbies work out their "No. Next" responses are to be ignored.

But Denny's precision pulling-to-pieces of posts and personal attacks are genuinely nasty. Not random, poor-humour "Then you're not good enough to be a contractor" responses but bitter, vindictive and cruel stabs at an individual's thought processes and approach to life.

I'm not frightened of General any more (well, less so) but I have always been loathe to post in any thread in which Denny was active.

I may regret this: I agree with Denny.
I have not reaqd all the offending threads, but I do not see why Denny has been banned.
The T&Cs say we will play nice.
The rules have been allowed to be bent in the direction of "General" is a free for all and smut goes to "Light Relief" but it has always been that the other threads were serious and not open to abuse.
Short curt answers were always acceptable but not abuse in those threads. Those of us who do offer advice have stated our reasons for shortness regularly, but I do not see that we have been abusive (though Denny has).
I had noticed that some people were popping in to the serious threads just to abuse people or give comedy answers "No. Next".

Denny has tried to bring this to the attention of the mods and to get them to do something about it. Maybe she needs time off to reflect on her attitude, but here point is valid.

Remove her ban please.

I agree, she doesn't go about things in the best way to achieve the outcome she's looking for but she made a valid point in her second "unacceptable..." thread.
