    22 wasnt big enough for the head shot. Had he gone for the chest or a disaling shot to a limb or even a nasty gut shot the job would have been done. A 45 or an eagle is too much gun though it WILL do the job. The problem as stated is where the bullt goes after.
    He should have taken his saturday night special. It would have done the job and the bullet would have stopped in the perps skull.

        Ok all you armchair heroes, read the article and you'll find out why the .22 didn't kill the burglar.

        With fresh ammo, he would've killed him.

          a .22 is easily powerful enough to kill somebody with decent ammo. They used .22 rifles in WW2 FFS and they killed enough people....
