Needless to say, I didn't see that relationship going anywhere.

Surprisingly, this ghastly oaf now has grandchildren and several sons-in-law who have lived to tell the tale.
does 'flip' mean what I think it means...and what was the mum like?
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Mum was quite a goer actually!

She said "it's nice have a real man take me rather than that cretin I have for a husband".

Those words will live with me, always!

                      Odd comment.

The Welsh definitely know they are Welsh. As indeed, the Scots know they are Scots, and the Irish know they are Irish. They all have a 'culture' and 'traditions' - quaint old artifacts of better days. Hey ho.

It's the English who don't have any identity, apart from waving a big red and white Cross of Saint George when there's international football on. Which is usually a sign that mob violence will soon commence.
