At long last, with the new 14 month contract underway, the old AMG (5 years now) is being traded in for the new car ordered today. Popped along to my mate at BMW to work out the full details and ordered a 4 door, 4 wheel saloon in Arctic Grey (bored with black but black interior.) Trouble is, it won't be ready until around May by the looks of it, still I'm happy enough and this time not too many miles to be put on it like the last one!

At last we have a return to proper contractors talking about proper contractor cars. All this talk of Passats, Audi shopping trolleys and Focus's had me questioning what the market was coming to.
Choice should always be between BMW, Merc, Porsche or specialist sports car with a 4x4 for the wife. Nothing showy like Ferrari, Bentley or Aston Martin or the permies will get upset.

darmstadt,
congrats
BMW Dreiech, 1st floor they've got some 2nd hand M5s in a line as you walk out to the gallery where the X5's are, just past the 6's.
Loved that garage used to go there just to look around, never seen so many cars of such quality under one roof.
That long room on the 2nd floor with a row of about 50 3 series going two deep, then into the next room with them 4 deep and a line of about 30, amazing.
1st floor walk through the gallery area past the line of X5's and into where they keep the 7's, amazing place.
And apparently the one in Munich is even bigger with a 3rd floor !
