I hadn't realised so many of you had such an irrational dislike of bikers.
Most of us are good guys and girls.

YES it is a manipulation of figures. A lot of these so called bikers are just chavs riding a bike they have nicked. Others are these kids and mini bikes that should never be on the road.

My bike is SORNed over winter too.

    Get a grip people.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Nothing against bikers at all, i always keep an eye out for them and (when its safe) pull to one side to let them past

        True, probably a statistics thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if they included off-road bikes in the calc. Plenty of untaxed crossers, trials and quads out there.

A few of my friends do and did ride bikes. (All accidents unrelated to riding a bike.)

I do have an irrational dislike of people who work in the media who do any governments bidding without have a proper look at the press release they are given.

I lived in Munich for 5 years and rode my bike every day to and from work except when the roads were treacherous. -30 anyone?
I SORN it at the moment because I (up to recently) only get chance to ride it at weekends and most of my weekends at the moment are taken up with refurbing my house.
