Worlds thinnest notebook...by Apple

CD/DVD drive an optional extra, an external at that. Only one USB port. No Firewire or Gigabit ethernet - hell, no ethernet at all unless you use the solitary USB port with an RJ45 adaptor. In which case without a USB hub, you can't use the CD/DVD drive at the same time. Battery not user replaceable.
Verdict: Executive toy.
Mind you, I haven't seen one in the flesh yet...Last edited by Sysman; 16 January 2008, 02:38.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

first impressions were that it looks cool, i like the idea of ultra ultra thin and even had me wondering if I can get away with a Mac on client networks..
after reading it only has 1 USB and no ethernet cable socket im instantly put off, i have 3 USB right now, plus ethernet and that is just about right
looks nice, but not practical is my verdict, overhypedThe proud owner of 125 Xeno Geek PointsComment

And I think you're missing the "Air" idea - you're supposed to buy one of these to go with it."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment
